The 21st edition of ICNP, ICNP 2013, was held at the Mathematics Institute at the University of Göttingen, October 7-10, 2013. The Project coordinator of GreenICN, Prof. Xiaoming Fu was the General co-chair. Of special highlight was the notion of Information Centric Networking (ICN). ICNP’13 had a specific session on ICN and the panel was centric to “The Future of Information-Centric Networking”, where experts from the academia and industry raised various opinions and prospects on this future Internet technology.

GreenICN participants participated in the Demo (1 accepted Demo) as well as Poster session (2 accepted Posters), see List of accepted Posters, Demos at ICNP 2013 Poster/Demo session.  Moreover, an ad-hoc meeting was organized for GreenICN members, both from EU and Japan on Thursday as well as Friday. A special highlight was that these meetings were attended by all the members of the advisory committee from the EU side.

The first Kickoff meeting for both EU and Japanese partners took place at NEC Europe, Heidelberg, Germany from the 13th of May 2013 till the 15th of May 2013. More than 26 Participants from the consortium took part in the Kickoff meeting.
